Homemade Tortilla Recipe


Made with a few ingredients these tortillas are perfect for your next taco Tuesday.

  • 3 Cup Flour
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Warm Water
  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/3 Cup Olive Oil


  • In a stand mixer: mix all dry ingredients.
  • Add water and oil.
  • Mix until a dough comes together.
  • Transfer to a floured surface and split into 16 pieces.
  • Make small balls and let rest for at least 15 minutes.
  • Roll into 6-7” flat circles.
  • Heat your frying pan on medium heat.
  • Add one tortilla to the pan.
  • When it starts to bubble flip it over.
  • Cook both sides until they are golden and remove from heat.
