Fruit Butter Cake

Finally...a cake that is different and still easy!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 pint fruit butter any flavor

Optional Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 - 3 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix all cake ingredients except the fruit butter.
  • Spread cake mixture in a greased 9x13 pan.
  • Drop fruit butter by the spoonful on top of the cake mixture.
  • Using a butterknife, swirl in the fruit butter.
  • Bake 30- 40 minutes at 350.
  • If desired, drizzle glaze over the warm cake.
