Apple Cake
This unique cake is a not so sweet, but perfect dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1/2 cup oil or applesauce
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 4 cups apples pared and chopped
- 1/2 cup nuts optional
Toppings
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup nuts
- 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
Instructions
- Mix the first 8 ingredients.
- Add raisins, apples and nuts.
- Pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan.
- Mix toppings together and sprinkle on top.
- Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
