Apple Crisp

A classic fall recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 apples
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 3 Tbsp butter melted

Crust Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Peel, core, and slice the apples into halves or quarters.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix.
  • Pour the mixture into a 9x13 pan.

Prepare The Crust

  • Melt the cup of butter.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Spread the topping on the apple mixture in the pan. It should be a decent layer.
  • Bake for 30-45 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
