In a medium saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm.
Beat in the egg until smooth.
Add the powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla. Mix well.
Stir in the coconut and nuts.
Chill.
From into a 10" long roll.
Wrap roll in waxed paper and chill until firm.
Slice 1/4" thick.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Notes
I bought peanuts from the store and then put them in my Ninja food processor to chop them up. Just peanut halves seem like they would be too big. Honestly, I think I should have blended them a little more.
