Pumpkin Bread
Eat it for breakfast or as a treat!

- 2/3 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 lb can pumpkin
- 3 1/3 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cloves
- 2/3 cup nuts optional
- 2/3 cup raisins optional
Cream shortening, sugar, and eggs.
Mix in pumpkin and water.
Add remaining ingredients, mix well.
Fold in raisins and nuts, if desired.
Bake in 350 oven for 70 minutes.
