In your stand mixer bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow to sit for 5 minutes. You should be able to see the foam from the yeast. If your yeast is not foaming, you likely need new yeast.
Add the flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture.
Using your dough hook, knead the mixture until the dough no longer sticks to the sides of the bowl. This usually takes me 5-6 minutes depending on the speed of the mixer.
Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a towel.
Allow it to sit until doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
Punch the dough down and cut it in half.
Form each half into a log that will fit in your loaf pan.
Grease the loaf pan and insert the dough.
Cover with a towel and allow to rise until doubled in size. About another 60 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 about 20 minutes before the second rise is done.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Brush the crust with melted butter and allow it to cool for 10 minutes in the pan.
Remove from the pan and enjoy!
