Jam and Fruit Cobbler

Use what you've got to make this easy cobbler!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups fruit fresh, frozen, or canned
  • 1/2 pint jam heated
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup softened butter or shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Grease pie pan.
  • Add fruit and jam to the pan and mix.
  • Make the topping.
  • Mix the butter and egg together.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix again.
  • Drop by the spoonful on top of the fruit and jelly mixture.
  • Bake for 30-45 minutes.
