Jam Quick Bread

An easy sweet bread for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 8 oz jam

Optional Topping

  • 4 Tbsp butter melted
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Mix all ingredients except jam together.
  • Pour into two greased loaf pans.
  • Split jam evenly between two pans by pouring it on top.
  • Swirl into the batter really well.
  • If adding the topping, pour half on top of one loaf pan and half on top of the other.
  • Bake for one hour or until golden brown.

Notes

Makes two loaves.
