Truly Free Review Brianna Hart, December 20, 2023November 27, 2023 I’m about three to four years into my non-toxic journey and still learning most days. Honestly, the switch to non-toxic products can be very difficult. Not only is it easy to fall into the greenwashing trap but it’s also hard to find products that do what they are supposed to do. I’m happy to test them all out and provide my feedback though! Today I’m doing a Truly Free review with zero affiliation- just my honest opinions.Laundry SoapAt first, I really liked the laundry soap. The fragrance is a great smell and it left our clothes smelling really good. After a lot of soaps that left them smelling like nothing or smelling bad, this was a welcome change. However, I started to realize that though they may smell good they didn’t really seem clean. A good example of this is the deodorant on my husband’s shirts because it never came out. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it. My favorite is still going to be Attitude at the moment but I’m also reviewing BioKleen to see if that is a viable option as well. Truly Free Laundry DetergentDish SoapI’ve been HUNTING for a good non-toxic dish soap. All of the ones I’ve used get greasy so dang fast our dishes never feel clean. I’ve tried so many and I was so excited for this one. I’m sad to say I was highly disappointed. Same results either everything too greasy and it felt like we went through it really quickly. So far I lean towards BioKleen but want to verify ingredients before I recommend them. It’s the first one to really make our dishes feel clean, so fingers crossed! Stain SpraySince I led with two items I was disappointed in, I figure it’s important to share some that I enjoyed. This stain spray is my favorite so far. I’ve used it to clean the couch and carpet from both dogs and the baby. So far it’s been used on poop, pee, and puke. Basically, we’ve really put it to the test! It smells great and it works well from what we’ve used so far. I can already tell I’m going to be wishing I could buy this on its own mainly because toxin free stain spray is so dang difficult to find! Bathroom CleanerThis is another item that I’m enjoying. It cleans our sinks and tile really well. Granted, they’re never horribly dirty but I do feel like it does a better job than others that I’ve used. Plus, it also smells good. I know that’s not important but I don’t keep much fragrance around so I like having it in my cleaning products. Somehow having something smell good makes it seem more clean. That probably doesn’t make sense but it’s how my head works. Roll with it! Multipurpose SprayI could take this one or leave it. It’s good and it works well but it’s really nothing special either. I know how to make my own multipurpose spray for much cheaper so buying one isn’t super appealing. I would also say they have the same abilities and cleaning potential too. Neither works better than the other, from what I’ve experienced. Worth noting that the fragrance on this one is also great though. Dishwasher DetergentThis is the only item I can’t give a Truly Free review on quite yet. We stocked up on the Azure Clean kind and haven’t run our dishwasher enough to use it up. I promise to update once I’ve tried it though because it could be the tiebreaker you’re looking for on good vs. bad products.Price PointI want to take a second because the price point of the products is actually really good! I did some comparisons on cost per load and cost of making the spray and it definitely came out ahead. I would say, I’d you are struggling to afford non-toxic items this may be a good option. Maybe adding some vinegar to laundry would help? I just think it’s important to point this out in an economy that is crushing people. If you can’t afford better, this is a good option. If you can afford others, that’s where I’d choose to spend my money. In Summary: Truly Free ReviewThis is honestly not how I expected this Truly Free Review to go! I’ve seen so many good reviews from the non-toxic accounts I follow on Instagram. I’m sure they are all affiliates but I’ve trusted them to give me honest information and it seems like they really stand behind the brand. In addition to having a really weird and clunky website, I just didn’t find that these products were worth the price or time of them. Overall, I would not recommend Truly Free unless the price is all you can afford. You can check out my other reviews on Azure and Attitude to see how they measure up. With that, I’m still left longing for more! I haven’t been able to find one brand for everything that we use and that is so frustrating. My main goal is to not be ordering from all over the place and trying to keep track of it all. Heck, maybe I just need to do more homemade versions. After all, the dusting spray and the cleaning paste seem to be huge wins. I guess what I’m saying is, stay tuned for more cleaning posts because we definitely aren’t done yet!Share Cleaning Product Review cleaningNon-Toxicproduct reviewtoxin free
